Are council nurseries returning to normal on Monday?

Are your children allowed to return to nursery for their full 1140 entitlement (as they were before Christmas holidays) on Monday? Our council nursery still intends to prioritise key workers. Sahms have said their children have been given only one session a day where they were previously full days.
Is this happening everywhere?
Thanks if anyone reads or replies Smile

I don't think council nurseries are obliged to offer 1140 hours at all until August (it was postponed for a full year due to covid). The ones around here are still offering 600 hours only. My son was offered a place due to start in Jan but we declined it as they were offering 2 long days only. His current setting was able to offer the 30 hours (1140) so it was a bit of a no brainer for us. I'm glad we didn't move him as the council nursery in question has now moved the January settlers to March! They'll only get a few sessions before breaking up for Easter again.

My 3 year old is at a South Lanarkshire council Run nursery and he will be back on Monday 9-3 five days a week , he turned 3 on January so his hours and days have increased since December . So all going as I expected and hoped .

Edinburgh, returning to our 1140 hours as before Christmas and pre-Covid.

Angus returning to 1140 hours on Monday!😀

Thanks! Yes I think there’s no obligation for 1140 yet just hoping it goes back to it soon. Letter to Glasgow parents saying flexibility in what will be offered so fingers crossed it won’t be long. Thanks for replying and hope it all works out for everyone!

Ours isn't - we're getting 12 hours a week instead of the 30 hours we had before - bubbles apparently. Better than Home Nursery though 🤷‍♀️

Our hours have been reduced to 600 in Glasgow. Hoping it will be temporary and initially it'll be good to get DS used to the nursery again given it's been 2 months he's been off now.
We can work round it but I think it should have been flagged that this was a possibility as a lot of parents will have assumed it was business as usual and will have arranged their working hours ready for the 22nd
