Dual solicitor recommendation?

Hi, we are selling our house in Scotland and buying in England and I was hoping someone could recommend a dual qualified solicitor that could deal with both sets of conveyancing. Thanks.

We did it the other way round we were advised to get a solicitor for each house. I have to say the Scottish solicitor who we found through google was 500 times better than the highly recommended English one and significant cheaper as well.
The only advantage that we had that you might not was that we didn’t need to complete on the same day on both house. We sold the English houses first then three weeks later picked up the keys to the Scottish one although I don’t see why you couldn’t do this.
The whole process of buying a house in Scotland seemed remarkably easy in comparison with buying and selling one in England. You probably know this but biggest difference we noticed was that in Scotland a substantial deposit is not required whereas in England 10% is required in exchange. We didn’t hand over any money until the day we got it.

I think you will find this quite difficult as although so me Scottish solicitors are dual qualified they don’t normally do residential property
Law Society might be able to help
Same day completion would be tricky as (even now) you normally are legally bound to proceed earlier in the process in Scotland
