Any opinions on Holy Cross Primary School vs. St Mary’s RC

Hi,

Please share any thoughts or experiences. Trying to decide whether to stay in catchment or go out. Heard both Holy Cross and St Mary’s are pretty good but can’t find much on the former.

There are a few schools by those names in different areas.

Which area as lots of schools share the same names in different towns and cities.

This sounds like Edinburgh, they would be neighbouring RC catchments here

No advice, heard good things about both and I think both feed to St Thomas of Aquins so no issues with catchment later.

I think most towns in Great Britain have a Holy Cross and a St Mary's!

@NiknakG if it's out of catchment it's usually during the Easter holidays. I've not heard of letters confirming places for catchment schools.

and if it's out of catchment, call the council to check the date for the letter and not the school as they'll refer you back to the council.
