Moving north

Hi everyone,

Currently living in Linlithgow and looking to move up north as our jobs are going to be continuing to WFH so no need to be in communtable distance to Edinburgh anymore.

We have a baby and are keen to be somewhere rural where we can buy a bigger house with some land but would like to be near a decent high school for the future. We love Oban and the west coast but would consider other areas.

Does anyone have any suggestions of potential locations? Thanks x

It depends how far north you want too go. The Highlands are nice though definitely cooler than further south. There is lots of lovely beaches near Inverness, great schools, lovely forest walks, nice areas but the A9 is a rubbish road and you do have too travel a fair bit for holidays etc.
