We've just moved to Scotland we currently live in a level 1 area and DS lives in a level 3 area we've decided not to meet up on Xmas day as the traffic could be quite bad but obviously we all become level 4 on Boxing Day. I've looked on line and it says that you can meet someone in a "public place" e.g.. a park/zoo if they are in the same level as you. It also says you cant travel between levels but as we will all be in the same level dose this mean we can go and meet him for a few hours in park weather permitting?

no, once you're in level 3 or 4 you're not supposed to leave your local authority area (unless you can get away with the 5 mile exemption to exercise). I don't think traffic will be that bad on Christmas day...

Ok thank you. Looks like it’s back to Xmas day.

I think she'll get through the border cause she's returning home, what else could they do with her?

If returning to a home address then should be fine if stopped by the police they will probably wish to know why she has been in England....... Border Travel restrictions came in on the 20th of November she might want to remember the day she left for England.....

House move and education are also exemptions to the travel ban.
