Grandparents and childcare

Hi everyone,
We are moving house first week of Jan, and it would be amazing if my parents could come up from England and do childcare for use whilst we pack and move (it’s during the school holidays). We are in a level 3 area.
This is the first time we will have done this type of childcare in covid and I’m a wee bit confused by the rules. They are in a childcare bubble in England with my sister. However from what I can read, the guidance up here is that grandparents can look after ‘one set of grandchildren at a time’. What does that mean? Does it affect it that they already look after another set of grandchildren at other times? But they won’t be doing 2 sets literally ‘at the same time’?
I am unconcerned about health risk as they are coming from a low infection rate, and we are also in a low area (although still level 3 😡). We will have also been with them (and the other family in question!) for the preceding 5 days for Christmas anyway.

Are you proposing the childcare is in your own home? Will you also be present?

I don't know the guidelines inside out ad they've been changing so quickly but I am pretty certain they can't provide childcare in your home, or their home, if other adults from another household (you!) are there. Children are the only ones permitted to visit others houses, not adults.

i would just do it, use your own judgement to make life practical!

Technically you probably aren't supposed to do it but if you are all low risk and are taking precautions throughout the holidays then I think it would be fine.
