How likely is Renfrewshire to got to Tier 4?

I think it’s looking likely that in Renfrewshire we’ll move to Tier 4 but I also thought we’d go to a full lockdown when England did. I’m not worried because I have shopping I need to do for Christmas and the weather is due to be terrible most of the week. If we go to Tier 4 on Friday I’m worried about how it would last, how long shops would be shut and not being able to get things for Christmas!

It's looking pretty likely. Renfrewshire has the highest infections per 100000 people at the moment. My prediction is Tier 4 for a couple of weeks along with Glasgow and the Lanarkshires.

Shit, if we do shopping for Christmas is going to be a nightmare 😭

Maybe see where you can scale back? Just get for kids if you need to. Every one else will (should!) understand that this year is different when it comes to gifts.

I've not bought anything. You can still do click and collect in level 4. A lot more places will stay open compared to last time especially if they have outdoor areas. I'm north lanarkshire and fully expect to be put in level 4 tomorrow

Renfrewshire overtook Glasgow per head of population during last few days, so reckon it's a done deal and probably first in the queue for level 4!

I'll be amazed if we don't go to Tier 4 tomorrow. I expect it'll be for at least a fortnight.

I saw a list recently of worst areas, Renfrew and Paisley looked pretty bad. I think we are still behind Glasgow though in numbers per 100000 but not by much!
