Central belt restrictions - meeting outside

Hoping someone can help me as I've looked on the Scot gov website but can't see the answer.

It's my mum's anniversary on Wednesday and we (df, dsis and me) go to the cemetery to lay flowers then usually go out for lunch. My sister is my dad's carer, she doesn't live with him so they have formed a bubble. My question is can we still meet up at the graveside, observing social distancing? Or will I have to go at a different time from them? No lunching being done this year sadly.

Well I'd go anyway, but I would guess that counts as two households so would be officially OK.

prettybird · 12/10/2020 10:51

That's outside and would still count as just households, permitably social distancing.

My dad is in our extended bubble, so if/when we can get back to two households meeting inside, he counts as our household thinking ahead to Christmas

Mrsjayy · 12/10/2020 10:53

Yea 2 households including the bubble is permitted. Isn't it awful you having to think about thisFlowers

ladylunchalot · 12/10/2020 10:56

Thanks v much, I thought (hoped) we would be able to do it, finding it hard to keep up with everything!

You could still go for lunch .or a coffee if you wanted.

BugCatcher879 · 12/10/2020 10:58

Yes the extended household count as 1

prettybird · 12/10/2020 10:59

Mistake/autocarrot in my post - should read "...would still count as just two households" Blush

Mrsjayy · 12/10/2020 11:01

WaxOnFeckOff · 12/10/2020 11:04

Autocarrot 🤣. Needed that laugh!

HuckfromScandal · 12/10/2020 11:43

You are fine to meet like that.
But - to the poster who said that they could still go for lunch, you do realise that all the cafes and restaurants are shut??

Mrsjayy · 12/10/2020 11:52

Cafes are open till 6pm

Mrsjayy · 12/10/2020 11:53

I had a Costa yesterday afternoon.

TheNavigator · 12/10/2020 11:56

2 households can have lunch in a cafe in the central area - I met my daughter for lunch in Stirling at the weekend.

prettybird · 12/10/2020 12:26

My phone now accepts, nay suggests "Autocarrot" as a word because I use it so often Grin

Mrsjayy · 12/10/2020 12:29

I see no reason to stop using it Smile

ssd · 12/10/2020 16:35

Autocarrot 😂

Op, I'd go and find a nice cafe for a bit of lunch afterwards Flowers

ssd · 12/10/2020 17:35

Cranachan in prince's Square is open, that would be a nice spot of lunch.
