Would like to get away Wednesday to Friday this week, DH, DDog and me. Where to though?....

Just a wee posh cottage with nice dog walks and a pub nearby for lunch. Within 1.5 hour drive from Edinburgh. Any suggestions?

Kippford in Dumfries and Galloway is a lovely village with lots of great walks nearby and 2 pubs. There’s very little available for your dates - presumably because of the school holidays, so these are lodges rather than a cottage

Anything here?

Try to get something outside the central belt restrictions maybe?

Somewhere along the East Neuk would be my choice. Away from the central belt.
