I'm in Glasgow and so under the restrictions.

I want to make sure I'm not going against any of the guidance.

I have a furniture delivery and a van and man delivering it there's no way I can lift it so they'll need to put it in my flat, is this within the rules??

Also my DC have music lessons in a tutors house. It's one on one. Apparently the tutor has been told they are allowed one under 12 at a time, but this would be with an adult too. I personally don't want DC going at the moment but my ex will insist and it's on a day where DC is at his so I can't stop him. If it is against the guidelines he may change his mind. Is this allowed??

Can't find info anywhere.

Thanks if anyone knows.

As I read the guidance, both of those scenarios would be OK (see excerpt below). The restrictions only really prohibit social visits indoors, all economic and caring/support purposes are still ok.

*Work and services carried out in private homes
Workers and builders can continue to go into other people’s houses to carry out work such as repairs, installations and deliveries. This also includes services such as mobile hairdressers.

Professionals who offer services from their own home can continue to carry out their work with appropriate safety measures in place.

Any visits should be risk-assessed and in line with the relevant sector guidance.*

You need to check that the delivery company will take it into your property. Some will only take it to the kerbside or the front door.

I discovered this the hard way last week.

Would the music teacher do lessons via zoom? We’ve been doing it this way since Spring and it works fine.

I got a John Lewis delivery and the brought the bed into the house, but the charity that I donated the old bed too insisted it was left outside. (Just a few days apart)

The rules seem to vary a bit within the overall rules
