currently in England but thinking of relocating.

Ds, 16 in Sept gets DLA low mob but med care so I claim carers.
It is awarded until just before his 17th bday
now I get a letter from DWP saying they will write to him 'when he turns 16'
It is possible that we will move to Scotland before Christmas (or at least next summer, so before he turns 17)
Would that preserve his DLA claim (obvs not the most important factor, but it would be one of them)

Also, does DLA change to Child Disability Benefit in Scotland next year?
My younger child also gets DLA, low mob, high care. she is 13 but it is due to be reassessed next July, so would she have to apply for a different benefit if we were in Scotland by then, please?
