Let's talk nurseries reopening - Scotland

We were informed last night that our nursery still won't be reopening in the near future. We use a Bright Horizons one and they are opening just one of them (on the 27th July) due to parent demand. The one they are opening isn't near us so we won't be using it. They can't give us any date at all as to when our nursery will open back up.

Interested to hear about the plans for other private nurseries and see if they are experiencing the same uncertainty despite the recent government announcement?

Ours (small Edinburgh chain) will be reopening on the 15th July but can't guarantee which days we'll get yet - if any. They're doing a survey to see what days parents consider essential and then will let us know.

My friend is the area manager of a group of nurseries and she's been busy preparing all the nurseries for reopening.

She was not sure how things were going to go regarding reopening when I last spoke to her.

Ours is re opening on 15th July. We've been asked what days we want and they'll let us know the confirmations of days next week but have been hinting we should get back what we had before as a big group have just left to start school.

Please, please let phase 3 start on the 9th. This wfh with kids is killing us and them.
