Specifically about blended nurseries

My Pre schooler Previously attended council nursery 3 days and private 2 days. However, council hours have been reduced to 600 and I’ve now been told by his private nursery that blended placements are not allowed so we need to choose which establishment. Really don’t want to remove him from his local nursery as he loves it but I’m looking at only 2 or 3 mornings or one full day and a morning which would be fine if I could send him to his private nursery for maybe 2 or 3 full days.

Just a bit of a headache and wondering if anyone is in the same position? Or if anyone out there is more up to speed on this than me?

Like everyone else it’s really tough! At home with three under 5s returning to work as key worker in August and husband freelancer working all the hours as no support available to him from govt.

Thanks!

We are still to hear from our nursery but it is likely we won't get all the days we usually get so it might be that you chose the setting where you think you might get the most time. Private nursery might be able to offer more and be more flexibility. Good luck. It's not easy
