Anyone recognise this rhyme?

I think these are the lyrics but I heard it from my 3yo so I might have misheard.

Mammy mammy I’m going tae play.
I don’t think so dear there’s work to do today. Mammy mammy that’s no fair, I saw John and Betty running doon the stair.

The only rhymes I can think of about running down the stairs are wee willie winkie and the ballad of janitor Mackay.

But there’s no mammy mammy in them.

Maybe his nursery made it up
