Hiya, I am hoping for some ideas for venues please!

Small evening reception, up to 90 guests
Will have a buffet, band, DJ so a wee dance floor and seating around or at one end

Maybe photo booth for guests, open to other ideas as not been to many weddings!

We are 47 years old young and both like rock and metal music, goth music, as well as traditional and scottish vibes. I'm more keen on cosy darkness than on a white/bright venue.

Budget not enormous- actually no idea - maybe 2.5k but maybe could do more for the perfect place

My sis used the Sikorski Polish club near Kelvinhall Art Gallery and I'm thinking of that if nothing else grabs us!

Thanks for any replies! Tell me about your weddings please Smile

No idea re costs but one of the beat weddings I've ever been to was at Artá in Glasgow. It's an amazing space.

CrackersDontMatter · 19/10/2019 15:57

Best sorry not beat. It was a friend's wedding.

My DSIS got married in the Polish Club too! It's a brilliant venue.
Our friends had their reception at WEST Brewery beside the People's Palace. We couldn't make it but the photos looked fab.
We looked at Sloan's for a party and it has some lovely rooms.

Pollokshields now on my list to check out

I have emailed West for details (never heard of it but looks brilliant online!)

A couple of friends have also mentioned Arta so will email them too

House for an Art Lover looks beautiful but is it really really light and bright throughout? Online pics really shining bright!

Thanks all Smile I have also emailed 200 South Vincent Street which looks promising

The old fruit market in Glasgow would be ideal for what your looking for.

Try Loch Lomond area? Buchanan Arms, Duck Bay, Lomond Arms?
