Alyth/Newtyle/Meigle?

Hi there, I need some advice - we're in Perth just now but looking to move somewhere a bit further north. Does anyone have any advice on the above areas? We like the look of Alyth but don't know anyone to ask about what it's really like to live there.

Hello, sorry late to the party. I'm from that part of the world. Alyth's a nice wee town. I wouldn't move to Meigle just because it's a bit too small for my tastes and I'd prefer my kids to go to a bigger primary school. Don't really know Newtyle so I can't comment. Alyth and Meigle are in the same high school catchment but Newtyle isn't.
