Glasgow Central Station to the University campus

What's the best public transport? A website I looked at seems to say bus routes fall short, does the Clockwork Orange go anywhere near? Any idea how much a taxi might be? (St Andrews Building)

I'm actually a (very) mature access student, but feel more helpless than teenage me.

I think it's a generational thing. I still can't get over the buses not being orange. The sooner they are again the better imo.
