Rock pooling near Dundee?

Bit of a niche query here...

Are there any beaches near Dundee / North Fife that are good for rock pooling? Most of the ones I can think of / remember are big sandy beaches. We are staying outside Dundee, so could go across the Tay to Fife or up the coast towards Broughty / Carnoustie / Arbroath?

Cheers for any advice!

Looks like maybe Easthaven? No clue where that is. See link for ideas

Arbroath is probably your best bet.

There's lovely cliff walks too, but under the cliffs are great for rock pooling.

Carnoustie's not great, because where you want to be is up beside the firing range at Barry Buddon, and it can be very, very noisy!

This is probably too late for you, but very good rock pooling at the East Sands St Andrews. Far right hand side of beach close to cliffs.
