Living in Stepps

Hi

Recently moved to Stepps from West End. Struggling with the change! Needing to choose nursery for wee man soon. Any recommendations? Currently thinking Condorrat then Greenfaulds in Cumbernauld for GME. Anyone done this? Any advice gratefully received!

Hey, is Stepps starting to feel more like
home? Also moving out there from the west end soon …..

I imagine it probably is, after nearly 5 years! Grin

My cousin lived in Stepps but moved to Lenzie before her DC got to high school because she didn't want her DC to go to Chryston High (her DH had gone there and was in agreement).
I work with someone whose first language is Gaelic; he didn't speak English until he was 6. His family lived close to Greenfaulds.

Hi

It was me and we've since moved. Looked at Lenzie but there wasn't much going on (sorry!).

We are now in the Highlands and love having everything nearby - ice rink, swimming pool with slides / waves, lots of good libraries, beaches, shops ( Dunhelm, Matalan, etc and cafes all 5 minutes walk).

There's nothing really wrong with Stepps and I hope you like it there. I just needed more going on but the estates are fine.

Good luck!
