How exactly does it work? We've got a very anxious team-mate who is getting stressed. How does the changeover work exactly? Do you see each other? She's anxious we won't find each other if the changeover thing is really busy. She's also worried about whether we can take a bag and how we get from our individual finish points to the finish line. We have bus tickets but they seem to be only to take you to your starting point then to take you back to the centre of town at the end?
Any tips would be much appreciated. We are all meeting up tomorrow afternoon to read through the info pack together and hopefully sort everything out.
Thank you

Hello, I took part in this last year. We bought the bus tickets but then didn’t end up using them- I started and finished in the same place and took my bike out. I think others had family that collected them in various parts.
Changeovers are fine - there are people shouting out team/bib numbers as runners approach so the team members can come forward. This bit is quite smooth.
Good Luck and enjoy! Some good coastal views.

Also- I’m not sure about bags. There must be provision though as so many people aren’t local.

The best thing for clothes etc is to give a changeover bag to whoever is taking over from you. Obviously if you'll see them in the morning prior to the run you can give them keys, wallet etc too. I had to run with mine as I wasn't able to meet up first.
