Midge repeller!

Has anyone tried one of these? I've just seen an advert in the Lakeland catalogue and I'm very tempted but would like to hear from someone who's used it!
Advert says it repels insects for 20 square metres, would be so handy for camping. If it works! www.lakeland.co.uk/61581/Thermacell-Halo-Mini-Patio-Shield-Mosquito-and-Midge-Repeller

Ooooooh placemarking - if it works, I want one!

I've now found some reviews in Amazon which say it works fine when there is no wind. Hmm, useful! But then it is the very still days when the midges bother me.

Looks like a great idea, but gas and mats (sold separately) refills are quite expensive.

Well I've caved and bought one so will report back in the midge season 😁
