Did anyone catch this when it was on recently? I’ve just watched it on iPlayer and I’m blubbing. It’s about Rolls Royce workers in East Kilbride in the 70s who refused to service engines for planes that were used by Pinochet’s airforce in Chile. Such principled men! I can’t recommend it enough, and if you’re not moved to tears at the end, you must have a heart of stone Wink

That sounds really interesting. Thanks for the heads up.

I must watch it while it's still on iPlayer Smile

What struck me was the men didn’t see the fuss. One said that they just did what anyone would do. Not now they wouldn’t - because they’d lose their jobs, and also because people are more selfish and blinkered now.

The plant is closing and transferring the last 13 employees.

It is powerful and moving. It is also useful to watch in light of what the US are now doing in relation to Venezuela. A very similar situation in terms of their hostility to an elected Socialist President, and efforts to destabalise. Of course Venezuela has all that lovely oil.

We seen this in ek when it came out it was very moving.
