Hi,

Planning to take DD who is 6 through to see the Christmas markets in Edinburgh next week.

Can anyone recommend somewhere nice that she might enjoy lunch at?

Plan to go to Chocolate Lounge in Harvey Nicks for early morning snack!

My DD’s favourite restaurant in Edinburgh is Chaopraya

I like city restaurant. It's pretty much just a chippy but the foods good and even my asd fussy eaters enjoy it.

We like cafe andaluz! DDS love all the little bits of tapas they can try!

Mama's in the Grassmarket. Pretty walk looking down on Princes St . Very child friendly and not a chain. Spent many (surprisingly) calm times there with 4 DDs when they were younger. Pizzas and pasty which are freshly made and tasty.

Hard Rock Cafe, TGI Fridays, Cafe Andaluz, Guillianos, Vittorias

Corros is more child friendly than HN if she wants a chocolate snack 😊

The markets have lots of food stalls so you may end up just grabbing something nice there!

Cafe andaluz, or if you are in Harvey nicks anyway how about Yo Sushi? Also the Valvona and Corolla cafe out the back of Harvey Nicks has ok food for littlies.

Brewhemia is good and child friendly
Yo sushi in harvey Nicks is gone now.
Fazenda on George street is really good and great with kids.

My kids like the chocolate lounge too. I think kids are eating free at Hard Rock just now. Amarone don’t have a kids menu but they do nice pizzas and pasta in smaller sizes.

Ooh thanks everyone. Loads to choose from. She's a very picky eater and would be overjoyed with a bloody McDonald's but I'm trying to persevere and make it a good day out with a nice lunch!!
