Does anyone have any recommendations for a wedding band for next May?
Also an idea of prices would be helpful too
Thanks Grin

We got our in Robert Anthony in Rose Street. Think there are few independent shops in Rose Street. We were on a bit of a budget as DH was a student nurse at the time but they were able to sort us out and engrave them too. This was 22 years ago and I don't live in Edinburgh anymore so not sure what the shop is like now.

Look like around £200 upwards on website

Is it jewellery or music you're looking for OP?

DramaAlpaca · 22/08/2018 20:23

I think OP means the musical sort of band, not the wedding ring kind.

But I thought she meant wedding rings when I saw the thread title as well.

If its music you're after i would recommend Corra. They will travel no bother and played at both my and a friend's wedding and were brilliant

We had The Jack Dames, highly recommend Smile the hireaband website is pretty good if your looking for a band too

Threeminis · 22/08/2018 21:13

Sorry, I did mean music.
When I reread the title I did wonder if people might be confused.. apologies

Oops! :) Good luck with the band OP. If it helps, ours was £700 22 years ago.

We used Innishowen (spelling? Blush) who were brilliant but that was 20 years ago and I don't think they're even together any more Confused so not much help Hmm

Brought back good memories though! Grin

Ernest - fabulous!

We booked Kilter www.kilter.co.uk and they were fantastic. They did cheildh music and other stuff. They were excellent at calling out the dances as about 30% of our guests weren’t Scottish. Totally recommend them

The strides are awesome. They played at our wedding and cost around £1000.
