Strathaven questions

Hi there, we are considering a move from city centre to Strathaven (among other places..) we have seen a few properties we like and are just after a bit of feedback on the area..
Can anyone advise which school is better between Wester Overton and Kirklandpark?
Is there an area to avoid buying a house in Strathaven?
We don't really know much about the area, but we like what we do know.. thanks!

Looks lovely, very near KP and handy for academy. Can’t picture exactly where it is just now though. Are you local?

5 bedrooms but only one bathroom. I know there’s a separate loo, but that would put me off.

Not local no, flat in South side at the moment we can live with 2 toilets - there's potential to extend the wc into a shower room in the future i think... It's gone to closing - anyone know what the market is like in terms of going over hr value etc? Glasgow is crazy money right now but not sure if it's the same out that way..

Things are going quickly out there too and over.

Agree to agree dovecastle/ kype view are arounx the firestation aren't great. I'd recommend kirklandpark as it's got smaller classes. The new houses on lethame road are lovely. There's also nice new houses on road to stonehouse aswell x
