Cosmic coppers

Has anyone had any experience of cosmic coppers nursery on merrylee road on Glasgow's south side? My wee one has a place for when she turns one and I go back to work. I'm just a bit worried that the baby room looks a bit tired. There also seems to be an unusually high level of staff turnover.

I don't know it, but have you tried checking the Care Commission for its latest report? Might give you some confidence or otherwise - hope it's the former.

@Superjaggy - they received an email excellent report at their last inspection. It just seems a bit depressing! The other rooms in the nursery have been updated but the baby room looks dated and worn. The staff also seem incredibly young!

Years past nursery though in Scotland. Might be best to post elsewhere on board for traffic tbh .

Hi, my eldest DD was there (Cardonald branch) about 5 years ago and I genuinely cannot rate it highly enough. I still have a few friends in Cardonald who use it.

Children were well cared for, always happy and there was always a lovely buzz of activity going on!!

The only nursery that I have found that is better than Cosmic Coppers is the one my youngest is in in Perth.

Just saw this post so not sure if your little one has already started. My daughter has been going there for 2 and a half years and I can't praise them enough. So much so that I got a placement at a council nursery with funded hours but I decided not to accept it and kept her where she is. I know there are a lot of young staff but there are also a few older, more experienced girls who really know what they're doing and my daughter is so happy where she is. It's so worrying trying to find the right nursery - it's your baby after all so you have to feel completely comfortable. All I can say is if baby hasn't started yet and you're still not sure maybe make another appointment with the manager to discuss your worries. Good luck with whatever you decide x
