Travelling to Elgin

I'm driving to Elgin tomorrow from Glasgow. A9 then cut off at Aviemore. Can anyone tell me what the roads are like please? It's now snowing again in Glasgow Sad and I'm assuming gets worse the further north you go.
Should I even bother trying? Thanks everyone Smile

No snow in stirling now, it was sleety this morning but been raining all day, heard it was bad in falkirk/lanarkshire and fife for a while but raining there too. Honestly you could get absolutely anything. Don't think the forescast looks particularly worrying and I know Inverness had nothing last week!

There was quite a lot of snow between Aviemore and Elgin last week so the A95 might still be tricky. I'd suggest taking the A940 from Aviemore to Forres instead then it's just 15 mins along the A96 to Elgin.
