I'm going this weekend (even tho the reviews are shocking), any tips on where to park?

I'd park in Kelvinbridge subway car park. You can always get spaces and you pay when you leave, don't need to worry about the meter running out.

You could be lucky with on street parking though.

Are reviews really that bad? We've got tickets for Sunday...

PaddysMarket · 31/08/2017 08:48

For every one good review there is about ten bad ones on their fb page. Most of the reviews from last week have been deleted now tho. I wish I hadn't bothered buying tickets but I paid too much to not go.

How was it?

PoppyPopcorn · 03/09/2017 14:54

Just back.

It was OK. Some of the dinosaurs moved, some didn't. If you were really interested in dinos and wanted pictures in front of everything it would have taken about an hour. We walked round in 30 minutes. Not quite as bad as I was expecting, but definitely not worth the money.

BumpGoesBumpety · 03/09/2017 16:19

Thanks for the feedback. We're not in Scotland but were debating tickets for another part of the tour - we'll save our money for something we'll all enjoy more instead 🙂

I went today too, had to park 15 mins away. Got to the ticket part at 2.50 and was at the exit at 3.25 but I didn't stop for the things inside the tents as I wasn't paying out more money and it was totally peeing down so we were all soaked thru.

Really wish I hadn't bothered going.

We got parked really easily by Kelvinside academy - lots of spaces that side of the Botanics. We didn't stop at the food vans or tents either. Had it been a tenner it would have been great, but it's hugely overpriced for what you get.

We had a great day on friday, there were no queues and to top it off the weather was lovely. Highlight of the day was only being charged for one meal in china buffet king though 😂

PaddysMarket · 03/09/2017 21:50

I said to my OH that it would have been a lot better if we could have went during the week and without the rain. Being soaked thru by the time we got to the place where they scan tickets definitely put me in a fed up mood.
