Looking for a hotel for a two night honeymoon. Preferably with a pool. Not in Edinburgh.

Is Gleneagles golf though?

There is so much more to gleneagles than golf, it's fab.

No pool but Knockinaam Lodge is lovely. Private beach makes up for no pool .

Mar Hall, Cameron House or Gleneagles.

I go to Gleneagles before Christmas every year, so not for golf. Gorgeous spa and restaurants. Think they have a new American Bar 1920s style which looks gorgeous.

Another vote for Cameron House! Spa is gorgeous & the food is amazing. Also love the wine list & cocktails. It's our once a year treat!

Isle of Eriska Hotel - magical!

I second Isle of Eriska. I had my honeymoon there and pine to go back.

Gleneagles is perfect.
Service at Cameron House is hit or miss in my experience.
Fairmont in St Andrews also gorgeous and spa very nice

gleneagles is amazing. a resort hotel with a spa and pool.

Highly recommend knockinaam. Took dh for two nights for his birthday this year. It's small and the service is outstanding as is the food. Beautiful scenery lovely coastal walks and the private beach.

Blythswood Square in Glasgow. Spa is fantastic. Cocktails good in the bar. You've the whole of Glasgow to have fun in.

Gleneagles very overrated for what you pay!

Greywalls in Gullane is great (def no pool though)

I loved The Torridon Hotel when we visited in 2006. No pool unfortunately, but plenty of outdoor activities. The staff packed a lovely picnic for us to have when we went walking through Ben Damph.
