Banks holiday in Scotland?

Hey,
I know its a bank holiday tomorrow in England but does anyone know if the bank of Scotland in Scotland will be open tomorrow? I foned the bank today and even she didn't know 😂

It is a Bank Holiday in Scotland tomorrow too. We used to have different dates but 20+ years ago changed to match the English ones - although everyone else still seems to think they're different!

Nothing's closed in Glasgow tomorrow. We don't get the English holidays - we get the September weekend / Glasgow fair instead.

I think this illustrates the difference between Bank holidays - where the Scottish banks reluctantly follow the English bank holidays and Public holidays.

In England the two are normally quite closely aligned, whereas in Scotland we have quite a lot of regional variation in public holidays.

Banks here shut. They were open on the Scottish bank holiday at the beginning of the month.
