Looking for one advice please, having a total mind blank!

We're (dh, 2xds and myself) going to the tattoo on Saturday evening. Early showing.
After being in town this Saturday I realised how crazy busy it's going to be, so figured I should probably book somewhere for dinner.
Anyone got any suggestions? Don't want to spend a fortune.. Thanks in advance

I've eaten at the filling station before with DC and it was fine and not too expensive.

Wings if you like chicken.

Filing station, little bit further towards west end, Sygn, lebowskis snd indigo yard. Meze Meze is good behind princes street too

Mamma's in the Grassmarket was our go to when the DDs were younger. Excellent food, family friendly.

Mammas in the grassmarket or the filling station on the high street. If they like burgers, burgers and beers.

Agree with Mammas in the grassmarket - although I seem to remember you can't book? Maybe their policy has changed. There's also a Wagamama in Lothian Road which is quick and child-friendly.

I book mammas all the time x
