Heavily pregnant homeless woman

Every evening, on my way home from work, I pass a heavily pregnant homeless person (just outside McColls at Queen St Station, or roundabout there). She's usually drugged/drunk and sitting against the bin with her eyes closed. I find it so upsetting to see, but I don't know what to do. I presume "they" (whoever they are) are aware of her, because the area is heavily policed and the street wardens are patrolling. I just find it so sad that her life has come to this (and I'm usually quite hard). Anyway, the point of my post - is there anyone I could contact, or do I assume that agencies are involved?

Bumping for you as find this heartbreaking

That's so sad! I expect she's well known to services and the baby will be removed. I thought it might be a safeguarding issue, if she's drinking and taking drugs whilst pregnant, but don't think the baby will have rights until he/she born, it's so sad

Yes, I think you're right bellalou1234. Sad

Is she quite young? There was a young girl there in the mornings for a while but I've not seen her for ages. I've been worried about her.

Probably late 20s. Straight brown hair in a ponytail. I didn't see her today, but I left work early.
