Has anyone got experience of the lounges at Edinburgh airport? Either aspire or No 1?

Hi, I've used No1. Its OK but I would only use if you already have a pass. I don't think any of the lounges are worth the standard charge unless you are going to be there for a long time.

Do you have a 'priority pass' linked to your bank account?

No but we can get access due to a deal for £10 each. Just double checked it and it's only for aspire. Thinking a couple of coffees and some snacks would easily cover that amount so will give it a go.

I think you are better off buying some coffee and nice snacks from Eat or Costa - the airport is actually pretty good with decent facilities in the main concourse. I used to have access to the BA lounge through work which was very nice but I wouldn't have paid money to use it (although the free alcohol was quite pleasant but I'd never get trashed before a flight anyway). Beyond gate 12 it gets a bit sparse but the airport is pretty compact so can get from one end to the other in a few mins.

We were in Aspire a few months back and weren't impressed with the choice of food available. We were hoping for a light lunch/snack and it was pretty poor. Was also not impressed by the fact that there are no toilets in there. You have to come out of the lounge to the main toilets and then enter the lounge again. The seats are a bit more comfortable, and it is a bit quieter though.
