Paying for nursery hours in Scotland

Hi

My son has gone to a childminder since he was 18 months but as of next month will be in nursery, 16 hours free and the rest paid. Council run. How do I pay for it, will they bill me monthly or termly? Can I pay by DD? The school just said I'd get a bill. Need to phone the council.

Thanks!

Found something for another school saying can pay by DD in 12 instalments. Hope I can do that.

I work in a nursery in Edinburgh and we bill the parents monthly. The administrator makes up all the bills and leaves them in the childrens letter pocket that we have and then parents pop it in the post box in their child's room.

Thank you Grovee
