DH and I are heading to Aberdeen in a couple of weeks Christmas shopping Wink. My db actually lives there but doesn't drink and rarely goes out so isn't much use. I know my way around the city centre, usually we go to Blue Moon or Rishi's for grub. Belmont St is obvs a favourite place too, but any other places we could try for a change?

By Christmas shopping I mean we spend two hours belting around shops before heading to a bar, then ditching our stuff at the hotel and heading out again can't bloody wait

I'd recommend 8848 on Union Street for curry and Amarone for pizza, also on Union Street.

There's Brewdog pubs on the Gallowgate and in the Castlegate and The Grill is always good for a beer. Also 6 Degrees North on Littlejohn Street is worth a look. DH likes The Braided Fig on Summer Street.

Cafe 52 is one of my favorites.
