Lunch venue near Theatre Royal Glasgow

Any suggestions for where I could send my parents for a nice pre-theatre lunch, around the Theatre Royal?

Preferably within a short walk as they are elderly & cannot manage hills. They'll get off the bus at the top of Renfield St.

Haven't lived in Glasgow for a number of years & it's changed so much.

Thanks!

Vanilla Black's is inside the Theatre Royal and friends say it's good.

Across the road from the theatre is the Piper's Tryst inside the Piping Centre and the food there is gorgeous.

La Bonne Auberge is inside the Holiday Inn very close to the bus station. There's an Italian restaurant just outside the bus station but I can't remember what it is - maybe an Ask Italian?

There are loads of chains nearby on Sauchiehall Street.

Second The Piper's Tryst. It's lovely.

These are great, thank you. I hadn't realised there was a restaurant in the theatre, will check it out. Went to the Piper's Tryst many years ago for a work night out.

I miss Glasgow!
