How would you spend a day off?

My DH is away for a few days and I have a day off on Friday so want to do something nice but not too expensive. What would you do if you had a day off on your own to do as you please? Would love some ideas.

What area are you in? I have a day off alone on Monday, and am going to the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art. Entry is free, although they charge for some special exhibitions, but you don't have to visit those. There's a lovely cafe for lunch, and the sculpture gardens. Then I'll walk along the Water of Leith into town (as long as it's fair!)
