Edinburgh builders and architects recommendations?

We are thinking of making an offer on a house - but have two different options on the cards which we can't decide between. Both need a hefty amount of work doing. We need some sound builders and/or architects to advise us what is possible and how much it would cost in order to factor that into our thinking about budgets. We are new to Edinburgh - anyone got any good recommendations?

We're are using Helen Kelly in Stockbridge. We're at a relatively early stage but she has been really helpful so far and come up with some fantastic ideas.
