prudential in Stirling - flexible working?

I have an interview for a senior job at Prudential in Stirling. As I live in Edinburgh the location is not ideal but I have been out of work a while and this looks like a great job. I would need to commute by car after dropping kids off at their breakfast club in South Edinburgh. DH would do collections. What is their approach to flexible hours or working from home e.g. 1 day a week? Is it a company where presenteeism is important? Any comments on realistic commuting time? I don't want to miss an opportunity.

Depends really, will you be working directly for Prudential or with one of the other companies on Campus? Also then depends what team and what job.

I did exactly what you did, (commuted from Penicuik to Pru) for a few weeks, you are going against the tide of traffic coming up and they allowed me at the time to start very early and finish early. i then moved up and did reduce my hours a bit so i could do local school pick up. At that time certainly they were pretty good but I worked in a specialist area so didn't need to be there for customer contact or anything. Feel free to message me if you want. I'm nipping out to the shops but will be back later.

Thanks. It would be direct for Prudential, and not customer facing (don't want to say more in case it outs me!).
