Cost of childminder in Glasgow

Hi there

I'm asking a bit early as LO isn't born yet, but I'm trying to think ahead.

How much would a childminder cost for 2 days per week in the west end of Glasgow do you know? Obvs could all change in the next year, but I'm trying to think ahead.

DH only works 3 days per week, and I'm going back to work at 4 days per week, so between us we're OK for 3 days but don't have any family help for the other two days.

Looks like it will be from £5 per hour so for say 8 to 6 you will be about £50 a day.

I think it's about £40 a full day for a nursery.

I guess it really depends on what hours you need which will be cheaper and you'll want to decide which type of environment you want for your child as there are advantages and disadvantages to both.
