Does anyone else hear typing when listening to RS?

Especially so when they have a guest on the phone. It seems like the presenter isn't really paying attention to what they're saying.

It hen distracts me as then that's all I can hear! Might have to rethink my wireless choices in the morning

Yes! Especially during the phone in section. I veer between thinking they're googling the relevant point the caller has just made, and browsing on Ebay.

I don't listen to Radio Scotland so have no comment to make on that but I was laughing away at "wireless" certainly takes me back - are you listening to the wireless on your radiogram? :o

twitter or FB them - I'd be intrigued to see what they say!! You'd think they'd realise the sound would carry. Perhaps they're doing their supermarket shop online?

Posted on this thread this morning, got into the car to drive to work and they were interviewing someone - with the tapping noise in the background! It does seem to be only on the breakfast time show and then the phone in after - just drove home listening to the lunchtime show with John beattie and no tapping to be heard.

My thoughts are they are using MSN messenger to chat to pals so Kaye will be messaging shareen asking to do lunch

Am going to BBC Scotland today with the kids to see a recording of "the Dog Ate my Homework" so will pop upstairs to the radio dept and ask them!

Not sure if they're doing it any more but you used to be able to book a tour of Pacific Quay in Glasgow and it's fab - 90 minute tour all round the building and you get to sit in the Reporting Scotland chair and have a go at doing the weather.
