Where would be good for a beginner to ride their bike in St Andrews?

How about along the (car park?) road beside the West Sands? Or some of the wider paths beside the golf courses?

If you go right to the end of the west sands, there's a traffic free path which is really good. Or yes, Lade Braes, but some of it is really quite uneven ground where the tree routes are coming through! (Strictly speaking it's also no cycling too, but probably ok for wee ones)
