Need to chat about Scottish education stuff

I have just realised how little I know about the Scottish education system and I am supposed to be writing something about it for work. There don't seem to be as many reports and article published about it as the English system, which makes it harder to know what people actually in schools are really thinking and what the mood music is. AuldAlliance reckoned I ought to post something on here and see what the Scottish Mumsnet massive had to say about things, which seems a quite brilliant idea. So anyone around to help answer a few questions?

Every SfL meeting we have (all us SfL teachers together), our PT SfL will remind us of that. My region is pretty clued up on ASN compared to others it seems.

Our HT buries her head in the sand and pretends everything is fine, as long as it doesn't affect her directly.

We have one particular child who receives a large amount of 1-1 teaching time and for the rest of the week works with support staff as he cannot be fully integrated into the class yet. He has started this year with small amounts of time, gradually being built up.

His main teacher (who applied for the job to work with him) was redeployed last year. Her health suffered terribly during the year and at one point she was treated for a possible stroke amongst other health problems.

He now works with staff who did not apply for jobs with, and don't enjoy working with challenging behaviour. Their health is also beginning to suffer, but because he is being occupied, the HT pretends everything is fine. Staff are scared to complain in case their hours are cut Sad

It does sound like CfE needs a lot more clarity
