Hurricane Force 12 now - my shed is visibly swaying.

It was worse earlier. Just to coincide with both school runs of course.

DameDancealot · 29/01/2016 15:48

It's calmed down now here

IHaveBrilloHair · 29/01/2016 15:51

Calmed down now but awful earlier, bins everywhere and trees down

Piffpaffpoff · 29/01/2016 15:54

Was very bad on the school run this morning, calmed down a bit the bad again now. Slates off the roof on all the houses around me. I don't like it when it's this windy Sad.

It's been horrific up here in Shetland. So glad they decided to close the schools.

Eigg · 29/01/2016 17:43

It was bad last night. Mostly calm today but seems to be starting up again.

If my FB feed is anything to go by the west and north are getting hammered.

OllyBJolly · 29/01/2016 17:46

Oh but you are in Shetland MrsAmaretto Just think of the long summer days...

At least it wasn't too bad for Up Helly Aa

Behooven · 29/01/2016 19:16

Snow is coming though

MrsAmaretto · 30/01/2016 20:55

Summer is a long way a way and I got soaked to the knickers watching the junior procession with my kids!

It had better be a great summer after this dreadfully wet winter!
