So PFB lidlgirl 1 was dropped off at Uni Halls yesterday. DFIL who we've looked after in a Grandad flat in hospital and won't be coming back to our care. Saw the tottie amount of tatties required for Sunday dinner and burst into tears. Come tell me of the joy of almost adult offspring and success stories of relatives in long term care. I know I'm blethering pish as littlest Lidl (DD4) is eleven so my nest is far from empty. Wanders off murdering "Slipping Through My Fingers"...

Aww.

PFB roguegirl 1 has a student flat now (2nd year student) and I so miss her chat. DS 2 and DH don't really do dinnertime conversation. Sad

However DD1 regularly sends fb pics of meals she's cooked and texts a lot. And when she comes home she's very appreciative of everything.

And I don't half enjoy having a bit more space in my totty house when she's here. Shorter queue for the bathroom, less laundry.....

Flowers for you and your DFIL. Hope his care home is okay.
