Can anyone recommend one?
I'm looking for someone who can take over my crap efforts at wordpress and make it look decent. I'd still like it to be on wordpress so that I can update it myself as I get to grips with the tech stuff - my understanding of wordpress is that it's user-friendly so this would be my ultimate aim.

Any ideas of how much this might cost? And any recommendations?

You might try one of the university computer science departments and see if any students are looking for some work (or these days any of the staff).
