Sigh.

DH's midlife crisis includes boat, speed boats, bloody noisy expensive things.

So, last year he bought a half share in a new boat, v lovely expensive thing, with a friend. They now want to sell.
I don't want to spend ever more money the other half of our boat, dammit!!

So, anybody here in the market for half a boat?!

Ha ha - no thanks. Although DH's mid-life crisis involved buying Practical Boatowner (and hiding it in his work bag). Maybe it's a Scittish bloke thing - like going back to their Viking roots. Would love to see a photo of said boat, though.

He has also aquired 6 (yes, six!!) bikes in the last couple of years. He is a fully signed up MAMIL.

And I feel your pain with the bikes. And the accessories. Every day, another Wiggle package. Could have bought a sports car each with the bike money...

My Dad must have had a monster midlife crisis, he did parachuting, then got a speedboat and went water skiing (I did that too, it was good fun) and a motorbike. He calmed down after the motorbike.

That's nice, but wrong end of the country ( and I would have to sell one of my children to afford it)

DH's MLC has involved looking at numerous campervans; American motorhomes; in fact every type of home on wheels that you could think of. I think this may be the summer where he actually tips over from looking at them to buying one. I find myself repeating at regular intervals 'but I like hotels; but I like hotels; . . .'

Nah dh has his own half of a fishing boat sigh the way he goes on you would think it was deadliest friging catch

DH is currently away on a boat he has hired with his brother to do the Caledonian Canal. I'll let you know when he's back!
