Hi going to john barrowman a concert with Dd next week at the Auditorium we know you need to park in the main car park is it a far walk ? Or is there drop off points that she can use to drop me off ive never been to the secc for years and dd usually gets the train,

Don't quote me on this but I'm pretty sure there is drop off sections, it's a bloody nightmare getting back out tho so I don't know how easy it would be for your dd to pick you back up from drop off points.

Would a train be possible for you? There's a lift at the station I believe and might be quicker overall

Mrsjayy · 30/05/2015 13:01

Yeah we have been talking about the train i would be fine its the getting out at night she is worried about

It can be so busy can't it no matter how you get there

The multistory car park is a fair walk away. You used to be able to drop off directly outside the Armadillo, your dd could then go and park and you could go inside and wait for her, there are benches and a bar and coffee shop if you need to sit down while you wait. Dh used to work there long ago and the stewards at the time would go out of their way to help if you were disabled and asked for assistance, hopefully it is the same firm :-)

I think the best drop off point is at the Armadillo.
With the train, you'd still have to walk through the walkway.
