Can tax-free childcare be used for a school residential trip?

Hi everyone. I currently use my tax free childcare account to pay for my 2 x daughters breakfast club fees, and have used it for holiday camps. But I was just wondering if it can be used to pay for school trips? I normally wouldn't bother and haven't for previous trips, but the school trip in question is £410 (2 night residential) so it would make quite a difference in the cost if I can! Any advice appreciated x

I don’t think so. Perhaps ask the school - they would be the ones to have to set it up. There may be a way, of a way to at least accept the equivalent cost of those days wraparound?
