Hit me with ideas for an activity with my DD age 5.

Planning to take my 5 year old DD out for the day. I have another younger DC who I do stuff with 2 days a week whilst the 5 year old is at school, so I'm planning to leave the youngest with the child minder and do something a bit different with the 5 year old that I wouldn't normally do with both children.

Ideas please!

Have already got a cinema trip, few beach days, theatre trip, farm & circus planned when I have both of them.

Thinking maybe a climbing wall ? Big soft play where I don't have to follow the younger child etc?

What does your child enjoy and where do you live?

Live in the East Midlands.
She enjoys pretty much anything but since she started school last September I feel like I've lost touch with what she really likes. Weekends tend to be seeing family and any days off tend to be centered around the younger child and what they enjoy.

Now I'm typing im actually thinking about something like an adventure playground maybe aimed at older ones... if there is such a thing!

Theatre? any kids theatre shows touring around you?

Yes that's potentially a good idea. Have been there before with both children but maybe I'd go on more rides if it was with just this 5 year old . Thanks x

@Needmorelego had a look at the website just now - lots more rides than I thought there were and loads she'd enjoy so that's a win win! Thank you! And only 20 mins from us!

I'm hopefully going later in the summer - I want to see the farm animals and the meerkats and ride the train. Choo Choo.
